ToyBiz X-Force Wave 4 Killspree (1994)
Killspree was one of the more intimidating additions to ToyBiz’s X-Force lineup, a deadly assassin associated with the mutant-hunting organization Weapon PRIME. His entire design revolves around blades, with weapons incorporated into his arms, legs, and even his hair. The character’s permanently grinning mask gives him an unsettling appearance, making him look like he belongs in a particularly dangerous corner of the X-Men universe. Released in 1994 as part of X-Force Series 4, the five-inch figure came with two removable blades and featured a Slashing Blade Arms action gimmick that brought his dual-weapon attacks to life. Killspree is a great example of the early-’90s action-figure philosophy: take an obscure comic character, give him an outrageous design, and add a play feature that makes him memorable. He may not have the name recognition of Cable or Deadpool, but his blade-covered appearance makes him a standout for collectors building a complete vintage X-Force roster.
