ToyBiz X-Force Wave 1 Cable (1992)
Before he became a fixture of the X-Men universe, Cable arrived as a mysterious, battle-hardened warrior from the future, combining mutant abilities with advanced technology and a seemingly endless supply of heavy weaponry. Eventually revealed as Nathan Summers, the son of Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor, Cable became the commanding figure behind X-Force, leading a team willing to take on threats through military-style tactics rather than the traditional X-Men approach. ToyBiz’s 1992 Series 1 figure captured that personality with a rugged, cybernetic design and a large Gatling gun accessory. Its signature “Clobber Action” feature brought the weapon to life with a spinning-gun effect, making Cable look ready to unleash a barrage on any enemy in his path. With his oversized firearm and tough, futuristic appearance, this figure perfectly embodies the weapon-heavy aesthetic that made the original X-Force line so memorable.
