Kenner Aliens Wave 1 Lieutenant Ripley (1992)
Ellen Ripley proved that surviving an encounter with a Xenomorph required more than firepower—it took courage, quick thinking, and an absolute refusal to give up. After surviving the original Alien, Ripley returned in James Cameron’s Aliens as a battle-tested survivor who ultimately faced the terrifying Alien Queen. Kenner brought her into its 1992 Aliens action-figure line as Lieutenant Ripley, giving her a Colonial Marine-inspired appearance and a signature Turbo Torch action feature. The figure captured the film’s shift from claustrophobic space horror to full-blown military sci-fi action, complete with the oversized equipment and imaginative gimmicks that defined Kenner’s line. Ripley was also identified on the original packaging as an authorized Power Loader pilot, making her the natural partner for Kenner’s impressive mechanical suit. For collectors, she’s an essential piece of the vintage Aliens lineup and a reminder that one of cinema’s greatest sci-fi heroines could hold her own alongside an entire squad of heavily armed Marines.
